Congratulations Class of 2018! Graduation ceremonies for Prairie View Middle School students will be held at Andrew High School at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30th.

As the school year draws to a close, we bid farewell to the Class of 2018. Graduation ceremonies will be held at Andrew High School at 7:00 p.m. on May 29th for Grissom students and May 30th for Prairie View students.

Kirby School District 140 brought home ten awards from the annual South Cook Math Bowl held at Prairie State College on May 10th and May 11th. Quite a feat when you consider more than 200 contestants from almost 30 school districts competed each day in this year's event.

Grissom Middle School seventh grader Serena Naji won the District 140 Spelling Bee on May 2nd. Naji clinched the victory by correctly spelling “dialect”.

Student-athletes from Kirby School District 140 excelled at the Area E Special Olympics Track & Field Spring Games held at Thornwood High School in early May.

Through a partnership with the Oak Brook Chapter of Trout Unlimited, select eighth grade students from Grissom and Prairie View middle schools raised brown trout from eggs to fingerlings in a classroom tank.
