Mathletes

Sponsors: Mrs. S. Soppet and Ms. R. Rachanski

This academic activity is open to interested and qualified 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Each member school has one team, usually consisting of 10-12 students who participate in weekly practices and a final competition. Students in Mathletes must demonstrate higher levels of competency in math reasoning and computational skills. This is a competitive activity in SWIC. The SWIC Mathletes Competition is the final activity in which member schools compete for team and individual honors at a site that rotates each year among member schools. Mathlete tryouts will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

All meetings will be held after school in room D-12 (Mrs. Rachanski’s room) until 4:05pm.  Please make sure you sign up for the activity bus or arrange to be picked up.
