Friendship Connection

In the Friendship Connection, general education students and students with special needs have the opportunity to get together and hang out in a positive and fun environment. This club gives general education students an opportunity to gain experience and interact with students with special needs. It also gives students with special needs the chance to get to know their peers who may not be in their classes.

We meet once or twice a month with each month having a different theme centered around a holiday or learning about a specific disability. Students will get to know one another by playing games and doing crafts. Our goal is to increase positive and friendly interactions among all students at Prairie View.

Sign up sheet is outside of Room C3. Meetings are held in Room C3 from 3:20 p.m. - 4:05 p.m.
