On Saturday, November 6, several KSD 140 band members were selected to participate in the Illinois Music Educators Association Jr. Honor Band and Orchestra Festival.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held in all KSD 140 elementary and middle schools on Monday, November 22 from 1:00 - 8:00 pm. and Tuesday, November 23 from 8:00 am. - 3:00 pm.
Intramurals are offered to any 6th, 7th, and 8th grade student who wishes to participate. Students meet on Tuesday or Thursday mornings...

Just a reminder ... Friday, October 29 is a HALF-DAY. Elementary schools will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m. and middle schools at 12:00 p.m.
During Red Ribbon Week, schools across the nation join together to promote a drug-free lifestyle and encourage students to make positive, healthy choices. It is an ideal way for communities to unite and take a visible stand against substance abuse.

Congratulations to the Prairie View boys' softball team who capped off a perfect season by taking first place in the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) tournament on Wednesday, October 6.
Our PV Boys Softball team finished the season in first place! The team went undefeated during regular season play with a record of 11-0. Congratulations to coach Pat Nichols and our PV Eagles on an outstanding season!
Prairie View’s Student Council will be collecting candy to donate to our troops from October 12 - 15.
KSD 140 observes Columbus Day on Monday, October 11. No school.
