Four of KSD 140's finest musicians participated in Saturday's Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) Band Festival at Unity J.H.S. in Cicero, IL. Symphonic Band members Ania R., Sankalp D., Ava B., and Benjamin B. were chosen from the hundreds of students who auditioned from the Chicagoland area. Not only were our students selected to participate, but our own Mr. Forlenza was unanimously elected by his peers to conduct the band of 120-plus students. Mr. Szczasny, Mrs. Angelos, Mr. Hodges, and Mr. Forlenza couldn't be more proud of our student's performance. A great day of music was had by all.
