Community Partnerships

District 140 is committed to building positive community partnerships that enhance student learning and provide citizenship opportunities. We partner with local police and fire departments, veteran organizations, the Tinley Park Library, and high school District 230 to provide student and family education and activities throughout the school year. Additionally, our bands and choirs perform at municipal events, our student clubs raise money and volunteer with local nonprofit organizations, and our schools host a number of food, clothing, and donation drives that directly benefit community organizations.
