The WGN morning news traffic helicopter 's “Friday Flyover” has been rescheduled to Friday, September 27th! We'll be LIVE ON AIR at 7:20 a.m.!
School board members and District administrators honored five students for their good character and acts of citizenship at Thursday’s Board of Education Meeting.

Just a reminder ... Thursday, September 19th is a HALF-DAY. Elementary schools will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m. and middle schools at 12:00 p.m.

Welcome to the 2019-20 School Year! Wednesday, August 21st - Open House at Elementary Schools for K-5, Preschool and Early Childhood families from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 22nd - Open House at Grissom and Prairie View Middle Schools from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Welcome! KSD 140 elementary principals and kindergarten teachers will meet with kindergarten students and their parents on Thursday, August 15th from 9-10 am at their respective elementary schools.
Due to the construction at the school, we are asking all families to park in the North lot and on the streets in the Bannes neighborhood. Please use the North sidewalk and enter the school through the North side doors where Bannes staff will direct you and your student to their new classrooms.
Grissom and Prairie View's Parent/Student Information Day will be held Wednesday, August 14th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
