March is Music in Our Schools Month, a time to recognize the importance of music education and the incredible talents of our student musicians! Throughout the month, students in District 140 will showcase their musical abilities through performances and concerts to highlight the value of music in our schools.

- Wednesday, March 5 - Music in Our Schools Showcase Concert featuring the KSD 140 Concert Band and the Grissom and Prairie View Chorus @ 7:30 p.m. at Prairie View Middle School.
- Saturday, March 8 - Illinois Grade School Music Association's (IGSMA) District Band Concert - @ Manhattan Junior High School
- KSD 140 Cadet Band at 10:40 a.m.
- KSD 140 Concert Band at 11:20 a.m.
- KSD 140 Symphonic Band at noon.
- Tuesday, March 11 Jazz Concert featuring the KSD 140 Jazz Band and Jazz Ensemble @ 7:00 p.m. at Andrew High School
- Thursday, March 13 - Choir Concert featuring the Grissom and Prairie View Chorus @ 7:00 p.m. at Andrew High School
- Wednesday, March 19 - SWIC Honor Band Concert featuring select eighth-grade students @ 7:00 p.m. at Orland Junior High School
