KSD 140 Jazz Band Students Jazz It Up at 2024 ILMEA Festival

Four of KSD 140's finest jazz musicians participated in the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) Jazz Festival on Saturday, November 16, at Hinsdale Central High School. 

Congratulations to Ben B., Colin B., Katherine O., and Ella Mae W.! These students were selected from hundreds of auditioned students in the greater Chicagoland area and were featured as soloists throughout the performance. 

Mr. Szczasny and Mr. Hodges served as the ILMEA District 1 Jr. Jazz Representatives and were once again unanimously elected by their peers to serve at next year's festival. Mr. Szczasny, Mr. Hodges, and Mr. Forlenza couldn't be more proud of our student's performance.
