Important August dates to mark on your calendar:
- Week of August 7th – 2017-18 SY Info Mailed Home
Classroom assignments, middle school schedules, and bus route information will be mailed to D140 families. - Tuesday, August 15th – Grissom and Prairie View's Parent/Student Information Day from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Parents and students are welcome to view the school, locate classrooms/lockers, purchase gym suits/locks/spirit wear, and pick up pre-ordered school supply kits.
- Thursday, August 17th - Bannes, Fernway, McAuliffe and Millennium Kindergarten Round Ups will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at their respective elementary schools. Please note: Due to construction, KELLER’S Kindergarten Roundup will be held at GRISSOM MIDDLE SCHOOL. Grissom is located at 17000 S. 80th Avenue, Tinley Park.
- Tuesday, August 22nd - Open House at Elementary Schools for K-5, EC, and Project Pro from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 23rd - First Day of School for All Students (EC - 8)
Elementary school students will attend from 7:55 a.m. 2:25 p.m. and middle school students will attend from 8:45 a.m - 3:15 p.m. - Thursday, August 24th - Middle School Open Houses from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
