On Friday, March 17, Helen Keller will host an event for St. Baldrick's Foundation and Wigs for Kids. St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer and donor-powered charity whose donations support research to find cures for childhood cancers. Wigs for Kids helps children suffering from hair loss stemming from chemotherapy to restore a child's self-esteem and self-image.
Students can participate by collecting sponsorships and shaving their heads in solidarity with those battling cancer or by collecting sponsorships and cutting and donating their hair (minimum of 12") to create wigs for kids fighting cancer.
In an effort to gauge interest, please click here for the form and return it to school by Friday, January 27.
