Keller Elementary's STEAM Night was a huge success! On Tuesday, February 12, over 375 parents, students and community members participated in the evening which included hands-on educational activities focused on chemistry, engineering, physics, computer coding, art and music. Community resources and special guests included the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the Cook County Forest Preserves, Lewis University Noyce Scholars and Andrew High School's Robotics Club.
Developed by dedicated teachers, the event was designed to be accessible to all age groups and encourage parents and children to work together on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) activities.
Many thanks to our amazing students, staff, families, and Andrew High School volunteers who helped make the evening so enjoyable. Your participation and support was invaluable!
