Winning the annual Fire Prevention Poster Contest has its perks. On Wednesday, November 3, Noah D., a McAuliffe third-grader was awarded a ride to school aboard a Tinley Park fire truck for his winning submission in the city-wide contest.
As part of National Fire Prevention Week, the Tinley Park Fire Department holds a poster contest each fall and invites students to depict their version of what it takes to be safe and smart in the case of a fire. This year’s theme was "Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety."
Congratulations Noah on being the overall third-grade winner and grand award winner!
