McAuliffe Families Visit the Land of Fake Believe

McAuliffe Families Visit the Land of Fake Believe

On October 26th, McAuliffe families entered the "Land of Fake Believe" to celebrate the Monarch nominees at Family Reading & Technology Night. Students and their families participated in many different stations including creating an art mural in the style of Rafael Lopez, discovering positive and negative charges, lion yoga, OSMO for numbers, letters, and tangram, an identification game with the music of New Orleans, a hibernation research craft, and a football selfie station. Special highlights of the evening included Dr. Szczasny reading Red: A Crayon's Story and performances of One Day in the Eucalyptus, Eucalyptus Tree by McAuliffe teachers. A big thank you goes out to the PTO for donating raffle prizes and edible art supplies. We're also grateful that they were able to staff the registration table and edible art station.
