On December 12, Grissom Middle School became the hub of innovation, hosting teachers from ten area Apple Distinguished Schools for a collaborative professional development event.

The meetup included interactive sessions showcasing transformative teaching methods enhanced by educational technology tools and resources. Participants toured classrooms to observe innovative instruction that sparks creativity, promotes collaboration, and empowers students to take an active role in their learning.

“It’s incredible to see how empowered our students are to explore, create, and connect,” said Principal Mike Rumbaugh. “This event gave educators a chance to learn strategies that make learning more engaging and relevant for today’s students.”

Educators left the event with real-world examples and hands-on strategies for inspiring students and engaging them in meaningful learning experiences.
