Congratulations to the Grissom sixth/seventh-grade boys' volleyball team, who won the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) tournament on Saturday, December 14, defeating the Jerling Jayhawks.
The Patriots made an amazing comeback in the third set with a final score of 25-23 after being down 22-14. Gavin B., Finn M., and Liam R. were named All-Conference, and Gavin B. was awarded the tournament MVP. The team also took first place at the end of the regular SWIC season with a record of 10-1.
