NJHS is sponsoring a canned food drive from November 8-15. Students should turn in food items to their advisory teacher. The winning advisory class in each grade level will win a pizza lunch! Please note that the winning advisory MUST have at least 25 donated items. The items collected will be donated to the Together We Cope Food Pantry.
Together We Cope is a prevention agency based in Tinley Park and serves south suburban residents in temporary crises across 27 communities by supplying food, shelter, clothing, and referrals.
Needed items include:
- Boxed macaroni and cheese
- Canned Soup
- Canned chicken or tuna
- Canned fruits/vegetables
- Cereal
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
