On Thursday, May 3rd, GMS sixth grade students celebrated Medieval Fest. The day began with a presentation, compliments of the Grissom PTO, by Caton Enterprises' Medieval Knights. The Knights spoke about the Crusades and showed many different medieval weapons and explained how they may have been used. Students also rotated through classroom stations engaging in a catapult competition, pool noodle jousting, bow and arrow launching, and designing a stained-glass window.
