Grissom Middle School students embrace Holocaust survivor and author, Marion Blumenthal Lazan after her moving speech about love, tolerance, and hope. In the weeks prior to her visit, students and staff participated in an all-school book read featuring her novel, Four Perfect Pebbles: A Holocaust Story. Despite the horror and hardship that shaped her childhood, her memoir is a story of courage, optimism, and the will to survive. Her visit was a powerful and emotional experience for all who attended.
