A Millennium Elementary fourth grader is being hailed as a hero for helping save a man’s life while on vacation over Winter Break.
At a Cocoa Beach Resort pool in Florida, fourth grader Angelina saw a man floating face down in the water and told her mom something wasn't right. Her mom and others sprang into action and performed CPR while waiting for paramedics to arrive. Thanks to Angelina’s quick thinking the man is alive and recovering in a Florida hospital.
Principal Werbiansky and school counselor Mrs. Garrison honored Angelina with a special Citizenship award for her display of quick thinking, caring, responsibility and good citizenship.
