Six teams of third, fourth and fifth grade students recently faced off in Millennium's first-ever Battle of the Books, a quiz show type of competition meant to test literary knowledge. At the event, librarians from the Tinley Park Public Library asked questions relating to the content of this year's twenty Bluestem nominated novels. Competition was fierce, but the championship battle was won by team Cosmos featuring Jaeden, Samuel, Eli, Lex, Kazuma and Zoe.
All teams came prepared to win and deserve recognition. Congratulations to all our participants on a job well done!
The winning team will go on to represent Millennium at the first ever district Battle of the Books on May 18th at the Tinley Park Public Library. Good luck team Cosmos!
