Millennium Students Demonstrate Character and Ingenuity with Mozambique Library Project

Some fifth grade Millennium students showed great character when they organized a book drive all by themselves! One of the students has a family friend in the Peace Corp and came up with a great plan to help build a library in Mozambique. She met with Principal Werbiansky and delivered a great proposal. The students collected book donations by placing bins throughout the school and took time from their recess to count and organize all of the donations. So far, they have collected over 1,000 books!
