Millennium Elementary School’s Juggling Club held its 18th annual Juggling Show on Thursday, April 20th with performances at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.. More than 120 students from grades two through five juggled a variety of objects including beanbags, rings, and clubs.
“I am always blown away by the effort, creativity, and dedication of these students," said Principal Werbiansky. "The experience of teamwork and collaboration is a life lesson.”
Each year, after a two-week juggling unit is taught in Physical Education classes, students try out for the Juggling Club. If they can perform twenty consecutive catches with three beanbags, they're in. The students in the club spend about four weeks preparing and approximately 25 skits are performed in the show every year.
As an additional treat, some of the teachers created their own skit for the show.
