This year, March 17th’s Presidential Primary Election Day will replace Pulaski Day as a school holiday. Students will attend school on Pulaski Day, Monday, March 2nd. There is NO SCHOOL on TUESDAY, MARCH 17TH.

All Kids Can Apple Logo

The Kirby Educational "Cookie Jar" Foundation is now offering All Kids Can spiritwear to District families. All orders will be shipped to Keller Elementary for distribution two to three weeks after the sale closes.

On Thursday, January 23rd, Fernway’s preschool students participated in the school’s annual fashion show. Before each student took a walk down the red carpet, they informed the audience of the various features of the clothes that they were wearing.

Congratulations to our twelve top-notch fourth and fifth grade spellers who competed on Wednesday, December 4th in Fernway’s annual Spelling Bee. Our first place winner correctly spelled "dissolved" to capture the win.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled in all KSD 140 elementary and middle schools on Monday, November 25 from 1 - 8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 26 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

November 15th is School Board Members Day - a time to salute the work of our volunteer school board members and to celebrate public education.
