During Red Ribbon Week, schools across the nation join together to promote a drug-free lifestyle and encourage students to make positive, healthy choices. It is an ideal way for communities to unite and take a visible stand against substance abuse.

Fernway’s PTO will be hosting their first annual trunk or treat event on Friday, October 29 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m

KSD 140 observes Columbus Day on Monday, October 11. No school.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held in all KSD 140 elementary and middle schools on Monday, November 22 from 1:00 - 8:00 pm. and Tuesday, November 23 from 8:00 am. - 3:00 pm. Students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Show your school spirit! Students and staff are invited to participate in D140s “Spritober” October 1 -29.
Beginning October 25, Fernway students and staff are invited to participate in Red Ribbon Week.
During September, members of D140’s Technology & Curriculum (TaC) Team helped students and teachers launch into the new school year with lessons in device care, Logitech Crayons, password/login protocols, and Apple Classroom.
Just a reminder ... Friday, September 24 is a HALF-DAY. Elementary schools will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m. and middle schools at 12:00 p.m.
Thanks to the members of Andrew High School's Varsity Athletic Leadership Team (VALT) who came to Fernway on Wednesday, September 15 to read to our elementary students. We really enjoyed your visit!
