On Thursday, December 14, Fernway Early Childhood (EC)/Preschool students rocked the red carpet! Before each student walked down the runway, they informed the audience of the various features of the clothes that they were wearing.
This event was a culminating activity to a clothing unit and allowed students to express themselves creatively and utilize the skills and concepts discussed in class. The six-week unit of study, which focused heavily on vocabulary and fine motor skills, allowed students to sew, thread a needle, design, and compare clothes.
