REVISED Morning Arrival Procedures for Families A-F and Early Childhood Students
Thank you so much for your continued support as we work through our morning arrival procedures in front of the school. In collaboration with District administrators and upon the recommendation of the Orland Park and Orland Hills police departments, we are implementing the REVISED arrival procedures outlined below. These changes will be effective beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

REVISED Plan - Effective September 5, 2023
Entering and Exiting the Parking Lot
Starting Tuesday, September 5, there will be no left turns allowed coming into or exiting from the front parking lot between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. You will only be able to turn right off of 88th Avenue. As you wait to get into the lot, you can stay in the striped lane on the right side of 88th Avenue. Parents and students should not exit the car while on 88th Avenue. Be mindful of the cross streets along 88th Ave, and please do not block them.
Kindergarten through Fifth Grades (K-5) – will use Lane 1 only
Students with last names that begin with letters A through F will be dropped off each morning in front of the building in Lane 1. Lane 1 will be a Stop & Drop lane. Please pull all the way forward in Lane 1 and have your child exit on the car's passenger side, walk to the sidewalk, and enter the building through Door #1. Parents should not exit the car.
Early Childhood (EC) – will only use Lanes 3 and 4
Lanes 3 and 4 are Park & Walk lanes for EC students only. They will be marked with orange cones. Parents/guardians of EC students should enter Lanes 3 and 4 and pull all the way forward. Please park your car, have your child exit on the left-hand side of your car, and walk them to THE FRONT of lane 3 or 4. Staff members will be there to cross you safely to the sidewalk, and students will enter Door #9. You should then return to your car and wait for your lane to be dismissed.
Please note that PRESCHOOL students in Mrs. Reking’s and Mrs. White’s classes will still drop off in the back of the school at Door #7.
A few things to note:
- Please have your child get ready so they can exit the car quickly. Give your hugs at home and put any last-minute items in the backpack before you arrive at the school.
- For the safety of all, please stay in your lane until it moves forward. Do not pull out of line to go around the cars in front of you.
- K-5 parents/guardians may only use the Lane 1 Stop & Drop procedure during arrival. Please do not park and allow your children to walk through the line of cars.
