Congratulations to our Fernway fifth grade musicians who drummed their way through a concert which included songs such as "Free Ride" and "Rock Around the Clock". Each young musician performed strokes such as flams, diddles, and paradiddles while demonstrating skills in ear training, hand/eye coordination, memory skills, and muscle memory.
The concert fulfilled the National and State Standards of Creating, Performing, Responding and Connecting Music and the Arts.
