In support of the 14th annual Cathy & Alison Toy Drive, D140 families were invited to contribute toys to the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation.
This year, Fernway second grader Madison McMahon participated in a big way. Not only did she solicit donations from local businesses, she also sold her own artwork to family and friends and used the proceeds to contribute $300 worth of toys to the drive.
Together, Madison and the Fernway community are making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with cancer by donating more than 200 toys. Thanks to all for your generous support!
The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comfort and distraction from painful procedures to children and teens who have been diagnosed with cancer. The Foundation supports more than 12,500 children each month who are diagnosed with cancer and treated at one of 51 hospitals nationwide.
