Thanks to our PTO, students at Fernway recently had a visit from Tom Watson, author of the Stick Dog and Stick Cat series. Mr. Watson shared how he became a writer and encouraged students to follow their ideas and dreams. The highlight of the event was when Mr. Watson taught students to draw his characters in action!
Mr. Watson also visited and ate lunch with our 11 Reading and Technology Night student raffle winners. Students interacted with Mr. Watson and even had some fun computer time with him.
