Mr. John Kamphuis (5-2)

My time here in District 140 began as a student in the early 1980's.  Back then, I never would have dreamed that I would return as a teacher.  Life is strange.  I feel fortunate to work for the community in which I was raised.  I began my career in the fall of 2001 at Helen Keller Elementary School as a fifth grade teacher.  Over the next 16 years, I spent time teaching in grades two, three, four, and five; twelve years at Helen Keller and four at Bannes.  I am extremely excited for my latest move to Prairie View Middle School entering the 2018-2019 school year.
