As the school year draws to a close, we bid farewell to an outstanding group of fifth grade students.

Congratulations to our Bannes Bobcats of the Week! These students were chosen by their teachers for their outstanding character and leadership qualities.

Six teams of third, fourth and fifth grade students recently faced off in the annual Bannes Bluestem Battle of the Books, a quiz show type of competition meant to test literary knowledge.

Grissom Middle School seventh grader Serena Naji won the District 140 Spelling Bee on May 2nd. Naji clinched the victory by correctly spelling “dialect”.

Bannes fourth grade students performed fairy tale plays for their families and friends on April 23rd and 24th.

In order to qualify for a discount on registration fees, you must return your student's packet to your home school by Friday, May 4th.
