Kirby School District 140 brought home ten awards from the annual South Cook Math Bowl held at Prairie State College on May 10th and May 11th. Quite a feat when you consider more than 200 contestants from almost 30 school districts competed each day in this year's event.

Fourth and fifth grade D140 athletes gathered for an afternoon of friendly competition at the District's annual track meet held on Wednesday, May 16th at Andrew High School.

Please join us as we discuss the effects of mental health and what we can do to as a community to maintain a positive and safe learning environment for our children and students.

Our Bobcats of the Week celebrated the end of the year with a picnic on Tuesday, May 15th.

Grissom Middle School seventh grader Serena Naji won the District 140 Spelling Bee on May 2nd. Naji clinched the victory by correctly spelling “dialect”.
