On Wednesday, November 17, the KSD 140 Jazz Ensemble performed with the Brass Tracks jazz band at the Quarry in Lemont.
On Thursday, November 11, fourth-grader Lukas B. was awarded a ride to school aboard a Tinley Park fire truck for his winning submission in the city-wide contest.
November 15th is School Board Members Day - a time to salute the work of our volunteer school board members and to celebrate public education.

Just a reminder ... Friday, October 29 is a HALF-DAY. Elementary schools will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m. and middle schools at 12:00 p.m.
During Red Ribbon Week, schools across the nation join together to promote a drug-free lifestyle and encourage students to make positive, healthy choices. It is an ideal way for communities to unite and take a visible stand against substance abuse.

The Bannes PTO will host It’s A Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Event on Friday, October 22 from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Bannes North parking lot.
The opportunity to order hot lunch and snack day for the first half of the school year will reopen October 1 - 15.
KSD 140 observes Columbus Day on Monday, October 11. No school.
