The D140 Board of Education approved the 2022-23 School Year Calendar at their February 17 meeting. Highlights include:
- The 2022-23 School Year begins with two Teacher Institute Days on Monday, August 22, and Tuesday, August 23.
- The first day of student attendance for all grades is Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
- Winter Break will begin at the close of school on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Teachers will return on Monday, January 9, 2023, for an Institute Day. Students will return on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
- Spring Break will begin at the close of school on Friday, March 24, 2023. Classes will resume on Monday, April 3, 2023.
- If no emergency days are used, the last student attendance day will be on Monday, June 12, 2023.
