Bannes students raised $10,746 for the American Heart Association by participating in Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart during physical education classes. Thank you for joining us in the fight against heart disease and stroke. You and your students are making a difference and are helping save lives in our community and across the country.
Each year, Bannes P.E. students participate in Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart as a community service learning project. Our goals are to ...
- Increase students’ knowledge of how to take care of their hearts and how they work.
- Promote the value of living a heart-healthy lifestyle to help them feel better while having fun!
- Honor those in our community who have been affected by heart disease and stroke.
- Raise funds to support the American Heart Association’s efforts to create healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Since 1978, Jump Rope for Heart has raised more than $1.2 billion for research and educational programs.
