1. identify orally: greetings, numbers, days of the week, months, weather, seasons, time, house, family, parts of the body, clothing, colors and food

2. identify in written form all of the above

3. enhance his/her listening skills

II. Culture

The Learner Will...

1. realize where he/she is in relation to the target-language countries and continents

2. locate cities and geographical features on a map

3. recognize the influence of geography

4. identify regional differences within the country (For example - included would be: food, life styles and lodging)

5. recognize the similarities and differences between their own culture and that of the target language
